These are Hannah's costumes !
![]() |
The black costume
This is black costume contrasts to the two other white costumes, and looks more edgy and 'normal' than her two other outfits. Her hair is straightened and is down and the overall look is more relaxed and casual.

This is Hannah's costume for the room
We borrowed this gown from North Middlesex hospital, we wanted these shots to look more authentic and the hospital gown helps to add to the overall look of the shot. Her hair is neatly tied back and she is wearing red lipstick to contrast to the white room and gown.

This is the costume that hannah went out in the field in
This costume was the hardest to find/ make as we had to buy it from several different locations, as she was going into the puddle hannah found some old off white shoes that she could wear that could be ruined. Unlike the other shots we wanted her hair to be messy in this one, to reflect her mental state.
Editing!
We have already done some editing, and our filming is completed! Well done group!! In just 2 weeks we have finally caught up !
In the previous post, there were many pictures of us filming at two locations on wednesday as we had academic review day and therefore no lessons. There is just one last thing to film , which is the cutaway shots of the hospital but that is not a devastation if we don't get those shots. We have also made a rough storyboard which we shall post, later.
Here are some recent pictures of us editing from last weeks lesson.
As you can see so far, we are very happy with our idea, filming and editing at the moment and we should be finished it all soon.

What Now!
I know I have already posted about this music video already HOWEVER, it has more relevance to our new music video idea, than the last one. There are MANY editing techniques which I would Love to replicate in the 'What Now' music video by Rihanna, such as the overlapping, the sped-up and slowed-down motion of her dancing in the room, the cut away shots used to match the beat of the music and the slow-motion falling!
I really love this video and personally this is an inspiration for the vision of the editing of the music video, I think it is very creative in a simplistic way and I think personally our group can take a lot from it however make it our own at the same time.
Also I thought maybe we should add an element of mystery by allowing the audience to create what they think was the reason of her becoming psychopathic, for instance giving clues such as having many different types of teddy bears just on their own in a white room or dolls, or something along those lines to create mystery to the music video. Also using shots of the Hannah being normal will contrast and emphasise her state when she has become psychopathic. This is just a random suggestion and I shall discuss it with my group when I next see them, and write a blog on the response.

Lexus!
My father and I LOVE this advert ! Best car advert we have ever seen and my dad even said it was 'bad' !(the good bad, like sick not bad in its proper sense.) We discussed and realised that the beauty of it was the simplicity. So therefore, this sort of professional look is what I want for our music video! I know this post was quite random but I just love these adverts, so to transfer this to our music video I am going to remember Simplicity = Power! AND I just really love the Editing and the creativity behind the contrast of the beauty of ballet and the car as well as having the shots adhere with the beat and sound of the music, and I can watch this advert in awe every time, and this is what I want people to do when they watch our music video.
The full advert:
This is the advert on the television that me and dad LOVE, the editing is just Amazing and the shots moving with the beat as well as the simplicity and the detail that it is in black and white makes it simply BEAUTIFUL and Amazing:
I also love all this Lexus advert also.
Rudimental ft Foxes!
I have found some information on the band 'Rudimental' we have decided to do and the Artist 'Foxes' also, as she is the lead singer in the song. Most information I have found is from Wikipedia as it has the most information on these artists other than their home pages.
From Wikipedia:
Rudimental are an English electronic music quartet who produce mainly drum and bass. They are signed to Asylum Records and independent label Black Butter. The quartet consists of songwriters and producers Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor (Amir Izadkhah) and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle). The group rose to prominence in 2012 when their single "Feel the Love", featuring singer John Newman, topped the UK Singles Chart. The group have released further singles since, including "Not Giving In" (featuring Newman and Alex Clare) and 2013 single "Waiting All Night" (featuring Ella Eyre) which also topped the chart in the UK.
"Right Here" is a song by the British quartet Rudimental featuring vocals from Foxes. The song was released in the United Kingdom on 12 August 2013 as the fourth single from their debut studio album, Home (2013).
A music video to accompany the release of "Right Here" was first released onto YouTube on 5 July 2013 at a total length of six minutes and nineteen seconds.[1] The music video was shot at the Tiger Temple in western Thailand, which is a Theravada Buddhist temple. It was directed by Josh Cole who previously helmed the visual for the band's single "Not Giving In". The video won him the Best New Director prize at the Cannes Lions advertising festival earlier this year.
Louisa Rose Allen (born 29 April 1989), better known by her stage name as Foxes, is an English singer and songwriter originally from Southamptonand now based in London. She is best known for her featured vocals on Zedd's song "Clarity", which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number one of the US Hot Dance Club Songs.
On her website, Allen explained the origin of her stage name. Allen's mother had described a “haunting and beautiful” dream in which foxes ran down their street, howling. Allen, who had been attempting to find a suitable stage name, settled on "Foxes". She found the name fitting because it reflected her music: she had titled her first song “Like Foxes Do" and many of her subsequent songs were about animals.

The all important letter !
This is the e-mail sent to Asylum records outlining that it will not be sold on and is only being used for educational purposes. This is so that there will be no copyright problems later on in our editing or publishing process.

Right Here Lyrics
"Right Here"(feat. Foxes)
[Verse:]
Late at night when you realize you’re on your own
I know the feelings inside you start to grow
[Pre-Chorus:]
Please tell me that it’s alright, alright, alright
I wanna know
Please tell me that it’s alright, alright, alright
I wanna know
Please tell me, tell me
[Chorus x2:]
‘Cause everybody’s got something
Something they can’t hide
Let it out into the open
Right here, right now
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
[Verse:]
When you turn up the light and you’re all alone
Cold as the shapes and the shadow’s gone
[Pre-Chorus:]
Please tell me that it’s alright, alright, alright
Tell me that it’s alright, alright, alright
I wanna know
Please tell me, tell me…
[Chorus x2:]
‘Cause everybody’s got something
Something they can’t hide
Let it out into the open

COMPLETE Change!!
Well... we have changed not only our idea BUT *Drum roll please* we changed the song as well!
Now I know this may (or may not ) be a shocker to you, but we tried the other idea and we just was not feeling it as a whole group and we weren't feeling the song any more!
I know I'm using a lot of gifs but I feel it necessary in this situation!
Wait a second give me a chance to explain...
The song is now right here by Rudimental ft foxes:
I know you were dancing like this throughout the song!
A much more lively song and more creative to edit to.
Now the idea, first off I'm going to tell you we have chosen the lovely and dramatic Hannah to be our protagonist that's because she is so good at taking direction and committing to the character. Her costume would consist of all white and a dressing gown straight from North Middlesex hospital itself. The theme will centre around a psychiatric mental hospital type setting. There are two main locations the field and an all white room (Leanne's room) and we will contrast normal hannah with the crazy hannah. There will also be cut away shots of inside the ward and pictures and toys etc. to symbolise how she has gotten into the mental state, slightly similar to Rihanna's 'What now' video which I will post soon, however there is a post already on it.
Here is our vlog that explains the change of our music video:

We have already filmed already The pictures of those are in the post before !!
